Newport birding

Nice morning for birding -- started off in Middletown listening for owls -- heard two, but no new ones. Then turned to the pond - where a saw a new bird for the year - a pair Tufted Ducks and one I haven't seen much of - Canvasback (sorry no photos, too far & too dark). Went around the corner and saw a Snowy Owl without leaving my car. Up the island to visit with the American Bitterns that have been hanging at the Marsh. Quick up and down the "Other" side - Tiverton & Little Compton. Lots of Geese this time -- all Canada and a Red-tailed Hawk-palozza.
