Went out this morning in the fog & rain to see if I could find if Common Gull was still around. It was not, but I ended up with a really interesting series of the Black Headed Gull (there were 9 of them) in different stages of molt & or maturity). I wonder why it is so hard to master Gulls -- and this is just one of many species.
